About the event
Who doesn't love a smooth margarita - or at Rehana's - a Rick's 'Rita? Tequila, known as the national spirit of Mexico, was first sipped in a different form in 200 AD by the Aztecs. In the mid-1500s, a trade route was established between Mexico and Spain, and in the 1600s, one of the first and largest distilleries of Mezcal, also made from the agave plant, was opened in Tequila, Jalisco. Remember, all tequila is actually a Mezcal, but to be tequila, it must be made from the heart of the blue agave plant. Come learn more fun facts and enjoy a five-course dinner paired with cocktails and sippers.Â
