About the event
After returning from a visit to my daughter in Chiang Mai, where I enjoyed a variety of culinary delights featuring fresh and organic vegetables, seafood, meats, and plant-based proteins, I'm eager to share my newfound passion for Thai cuisine with you. This is a series of four classes, each highlighting a classic dish.
The class will start with an in-house shopping excursion to the "market." In the Spring, weather permitting, we'll begin at the Farmer's Market and then proceed to the cooking class. We'll explore the various components of most dishes, starting with the essential curry paste. You'll prepare each paste using a mortar and pestle. From there, we'll build the meal to create something indescribably delicious, crafted by you! You'll have your own cooking station complete with a wok and utensils, along with a mystery box—although you'll know the contents, so it won't be much of a mystery.
