High Tea

Not to be confused with Afternoon Tea, High Tea is reserved as the after work meal for those who could not sit down for the relaxed social hour of tea and biscuits. High Tea is more of an early dinner or supper. In these days of winter, what could be more fitting than a hot cup of freshly steeped tea, hearty sandwiches, a hand held meat pie or frehshly fried fritter, a scrumptious scone or two with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of cookies and sweets to satisfy your appetite on a Saturday afternoon?
